The Death of a Revolutionary
A young revolutionary lad, tied
Above the seas of the plateau.
He was fearless - below the waves glide,
The waves forming the grave of the Chateau.
The rope began to get loose,
The lad's strength began to fade...
A flash of a memory suddenly passed by,
Where he saw himself - cutting the King's head off with a blade.
At long last the rope broke,
Plunging the lad into the despairing void.
Hitting the water, he felt like fainting,
As he thought about his brief period of enjoyment...
He knew he could not live any longer,
And so, he laid down on the churning water,
The waves swallowed him up like a prey
And soon, the poor lad was - well, drowned to death!
Thus ends one of the many executions,
Which occurred on the Chateaux,
This was the story of a young revolutionary lad,
Who was tied above the waves
Of the treacherous plateau.
