Give me little light

Give me little light

In your short days,

And I’ll bloom,

In your fall,

Like the chrysanthemum.

You are my rare lanthanum,

I’d refuse to lose.

You might tarnish soon,

But, that’d too astonish my afternoon.

You are that secret wish,

Kept in my forever jar,

Would you like to be my forever?

Or remain an untold wish forever?

Should I not imagine you ever?

Or should I keep the word “never”,

For you?

Will meet you some day,

Either here or there,

Dreams bring you,

It’s gleams talk to me of you,

And the streams,

That flow like you,

Writes the unsaid,

In it’s form of poetry,

Kept for the nature to be read,

And for the history to know,

How your presence would make my days glow.
