The Sky and the Sea

You are the sky, 
I the sea, 
We were never really together, 
It was just a fantasy
A fantasy created and kept, At the horizon, 
It seemed that we were together, 
The horizon made us meet, 
Even today in their fantasy we are together. 
I am just the reflection of you, 
The sparkling stars that twinkle in you
To be with you, 
Were yours 
And never mine, 
But I am the reflection of you, 
The twinkling stars in you, 
Makes me shine too, 
I look glamorous and beautiful for you, 
Every night with those stars in me and you, 
You are too high to know my depth, 
I have a world below me, 
But no one knows, 
The small lives who live in me are mine, 
But I am yours, 
Because I reflect not them but you, 
They see us kissing at the horizon, 
But only do we know, 
That we are too far to do so, 
We are not together, 
I can't stop reflecting you, 
Your happiness is mine too,
What makes you smile, 
Gives me a smile too. 
We are friends, 
I like to be your shelter, 
And I promise I won't get lost in their fantasy again, 
And think ourselves together, 
I am happy with the numbered forever that you gifted me.
