The Miser

Shrewd and cunning to save his money.
Never laughing at a joke, so funny
He stays in his house in a morning so bright and sunny
His hair is full of lice
Behind a secret door all his wealth lies
Tell him to spend a penny
He would say, ‘I haven’t any!’
If it was about a cent,
Furious and angry he went.
Forget about a pound
He would slam the door on your face with a loud sound
He was graveness’ epitome.
But did he realize that he could not take it to his tome.
Every day he checked his wealth
To see that it has escaped steal-th
But alas! A fateful night.
His servant saw that strange sight
He was entering that room all in white!!
The next day when the miser again verified
He was utterly terriffied.
His servant had run away
That was the end of his pride and sway.
He began to cry which called the neighbour
‘My god, what happened sir?’
He said,
‘All my money has been stolen.’
The neighbour then said the biggest truth
Which till then the miser had failed to comprehend
‘But you never had it utilized
It would make no difference’
Always remember from hence,
A thing in possession not used is useless.
