Life has blessed me with you, my dearest mother!

My best advisor you ever have been,

The most beautiful lady I have ever seen.

Forgive me, I am an ignorant teen,

For I have been childish -

And you give me whatever extravagant I wish

Still I have been rude, I have been bad

Not realising, you are only one whom I ever had.

Forgive me now for all of my disobedience.

I will reduce them now and hence,

You are an inspiration to me

And you are what I strive to be.

For everything, I say ‘Thank You’,

Give me your blessings to continue,

And here’s to many more years with you - my dear mother!
