'It's a New Morning!'

(Based on ‘Scherzo: Allegro Vivace’ from ‘Symphony No.3 “Eroica”’ by Ludwig Van Beethoven)

The night slowly goes away…

The dawn comes in gently,

The thrushes start to sing their chorus,

‘It’s a New Morning!’

The first rays of sunlight expel darkness

The sky is a carbuncle

The woodland trees start to sing,

‘It’s a New Morning!’

The breeze starts to flutter about,

The leaves dance about,

Chromaticing emeralds in air, they sing

‘It’s a great New Morning!’

The trees twirl about,

The sunlight scatters in the woodlands,

The darkness – finally extinguished

They hum the tune of the glorious

New Morning!

The flowers start to bloom

Pink, blue, red and orange

The bees start buzzing, singing their chorus,

‘It’s a bright New Morning!’

Chorus 1:

‘It’s a New Morning!

Rise and shine, Mother Earth!

It’s a new day, start off something new!

Expel all darkness, let light flood in!

Bright and fair, all ye creatures,

Rise and shine for this New Morning!

Come, compose a new fantasia

This very day, in the mellow sunshine!

Rise and shine, Mother Earth,

For – It’s a New Morning today!’

The air becomes fresh,

The stain of hopelessness gone

The air whirls about, singing,

‘Ah! What a beautiful, bright Morning!’

And whether darkness or fate

Turns the tables about…

The morning light (oh a sublime light!)

Exorcises, and vanishes the evil all out…

From the rainforest to the mountain,

From the mountain to the Blue Nile,

Everywhere the chorus whispers,

‘It’s a New Morning today!’

Chorus 2:

‘It’s a New Morning, everyone!

Run and reach the highest peaks!

Don’t let the walls of doubt obstruct you

C’mon, leave your obscurity

And shine like the morning star!

Come, compose a new fantasia,

This very day, in the winding woodlands

Lost in the sweet breeze of the trees,

Rise and shine, Venusian Nature,

For it’s a New Morning today!’

The meadows blossom -

The green grass seems to be greener…

The apple trees stand silently

Sun-bathing in the morning light…

The wind hovers by,

Silently through the branches,

The echo reverberates on the distant hill…

Which arises now from the fog…

Sadness – a human emotion

Can turn hearts cold,

Taste bitterful,

But with some warmth

Tenderness, and gentle words

Heal the scars of some terrible past,

And one wakes up – to a bright New Morning…

The wind whistles about,

Making the flowers dance with it,

The leaves rustle, colourizing the air

With its golden emerald colour…

From the North Star to the deepest point,

From the highest peak to the lowest tree

The chorus harmonizes, in a joyous mood,

‘It’s a bright and New Morning!’

The dandelion, now filled with snow

Disperses its children into the air,

All the while, they sing the song,

‘It’s a bright and a beautiful Morn!’

The willows – the wind flows through them

Reverberating the chorus, which

now lost in the thick, hard city air…

‘It’s a bright and beautiful Morn!’

Oh, the frenzy of the morning air,

Making acorns plop down on the earth,

The sounds to seem to speak out,

The chorus which is lost in this cut-throat world,

Where people murder each other for excellence,

That same ol’ chorus long, long ago,

‘Tis a brilliant and beautiful morn.

Tis a brilliant and bright Morn!’

The waves dance high about,

Spitting in the face of Heaven,

All the while they chant about,

‘What a bright and beautiful Morning!’

Chorus 3:

‘It’s a bright and New Morning today!

A New Morning with something new!

Something fresh, something wonderful,

Adding to the beauty of Mother Nature!

Come, create something new,

This very day, on the bright morning,

And while time makes us rush past

The memories of this bright fantasy,

Etches in one’s mind.

Rise and shine, young martlets,

For – It’s a New Morning!’

Night now again falls in,

Covering everything in darkness

But the stars too know very well, that

Tomorrow is another day,

And so, they sing the chorus of joy,

‘It’s a New Morning!’
