The Lone Wolf
The lone wolf,
From a rowdy pack.
Tread his path among the alphas.
He had never really fit in with them.
But destiny had taken him there,
And he was not one to question it.
There was another pack,
In that forest itself.
Full of wolves just like him.
He'd always wanted to be there.
But had never got the chance.
Fate with its own ways,
Wove an incredible miracle.
One day the wolf lost his way,
And found himself
Where he had always wanted to be.
He saw the others, just like him.
And they welcomed him too,
He had the home he'd always wanted.
Everything fell in place!
Nothing short of a dream.
He made some friends,
And he felt included.
Accepted. Loved.
He helped them hunt,
And he let them have his shares.
This was togetherness...
Life had never been better.
But something was wrong.
All the wolves gathered one day,
To celebrate the bonds of friendship.
And guess who wasn't invited?
Our wolf. Our lone wolf.
That day the wolf understood.
That he'd never been one of them.
The greener grass?
It was just an illusion.
But he had to walk his path.
Alone, better than as an outsider.
The wolf walked alone, then on.
Just his shadow at his side.
One day he'd reach the highest rock.
And look at the shining moon.
Far away from packs,
And fair-weather friends.
He was a misfit.
And he faced his truth.
He was lonely, and he'd be alone.
They say,
"Every cloud has a silver lining"
All he wished was that one day,
He'd find one of his own...
